چکیده

Background and Objectives: Dyslipidemia is a family of lipoprotein metabolism disorders manifested by elevated total cholesterol (TC), low-density (LDL-C), triglycerides (TG), reduced high density (HDL-C) concentrations in the blood.[1] was defined according to criteria National Cholesterol Education Program Adult Treatment Panel III. Hypercholesterolemia declared for participants with either ˃ 200 mg/dL or an LDL 130 while HDL hypocholesterolemia at ˂ 40 mg/dL. Hypertriglyceridemia triglyceride plasma level 150 A combination hypercholesterolemia hypertriglyceridemia classified as mixed hyperlipidemia atherogenic dyslipidemia hypocholesterolemia, hypercholesterolemia. Material Methods : The study population included 100 subjects which 50 were newly diagnosed patients rest healthy attending both outpatients inpatients department Biochemistry Rajshree Medical Research Institute Bareilly. Results: In our we found mean values ADA, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C TG cases controls respectively.

Caffeine effect on adenosine deaminase catalysis: A new look at the effect of caffeine on adenosine deaminase activity

The effect of physiological concentrations of caffeine (purified from Persian tea) on adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity at physiological and pathological concentrations of adenosine (as substrate) in 50 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.3) at 37°C was investigated, using UV-VIS spectroscopy. ADA exhibited a bi-phasic activity behavior and both phases showed positive cooperativities indicating adenosine...

Contributory role of adenosine deaminase in metabolic syndrome.

Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is an enzyme of purine metabolism commonly associated with severe combined immunodeficiency disease and believed to modulate bioactivity of insulin. Its contributory role in patients with metabolic syndrome (having features such as obesity, insulin resistance, fasting hyperglycaemia, lipid abnormalities and hypertension) in South Eastern Nigeria was studied. Body mass ...

Localization of adenosine deaminase and adenosine deaminase complexing protein in rabbit heart. Implications for adenosine metabolism.

The distribution of adenosine deaminase and adenosine deaminase complexing protein in rabbit heart has been compared using immunohistochemical staining procedures. Sections (4-5 microns) of tissue fixed in Clarke's solution or paraformaldehyde and embedded in paraffin were stained by the peroxidase anti-peroxidase method for adenosine deaminase or complexing protein, using affinity purified ant...

A role for adenosine deaminase in human monocyte maturation.

The occurrence of a deficiency of adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity in some patients with severe combined immunodeficiency suggests a possible relationship between the activity of ADA and the aberration of the immune system. To help delineate the function of ADA in the immune response we have examined its role in monocyte maturation. When incubated in vitro, peripheral blood monocytes transfor...
